The HÅG H09 is produced in an environmentally friendly way for an environmentally friendly purpose. Both the production process and the choice of materials satisfy the most stringent environmental requirements. Easily replaceable components that are few in number result in a product with a long service life. The plastic components are labelled by type for at-source-sorting. As early as 1995, HÅG was the first office furniture supplier in Europe to be registered as an environmentally aware organization under the EU EMAS Scheme (Eco Management and Audit Scheme). As such HÅG is obliged to make regular reports and audits of the scheme’s extremely strict environmental requirements. Since 1999 HÅG has been environmentally certified under ISO 14001. In 2005, all HÅG chairs, including the HÅG H09 collection, were tested and approved by The Greenguard Environmental Institute, which guarantees that our products do not emit any harmful gases or materials.
